Instagram Channel feature is a newly added feature that CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced yesterday. It is a kind of broadcast message tool intended to be used by Instagram creators. The followers may join this broadcast channel and get the creator’s updates in the form of voice notes, texts, images, polls, etc. The followers don’t have the option of messaging on the channel; they can only see the messages sent by the creator.
The Instagram Broadcast channel is basically a way for creators to send direct messages to their followers and share updates and behind-the-scenes photos and videos from their daily lives. The creator or the admin can only post messages on the Broadcast channels. Followers can read, react, and vote on the messages.
Currently, all the features of Instagram Channels are not known as it is only available to limited creators as of now. However, it will be available to the rest of the users in the coming month.
And it is to be noted that this feature is available only to mobile app users. Broadcast Channel will also be added to Messenger and Facebook in the next few months.

It is to be noted that this feature is currently available to limited creators in the US only. Instagram is currently testing this feature and will roll it out this feature to the remaining creators in the coming month.
