How does the Sweepstakes work?

These Rules describe how the New Vision Theatres Sweepstakes operates in general and specifically applies to the New Vision Theatres newsletter NIGHT AT THE MOVIES SWEEPSTAKES  promoted on www.newvisiontheatres.com and Facebook pages of the New Vision Theatres, Chantilly 13 Montgomery, Promenade 12 Prattville, Fleming Island 12, Movies 400, Cinema 8 Lansing, Ovation Cinema Grill, Stonecrest 16 +IMAX, Tilghman Square 8, Showplace Pekin 14, Fitchburg 18 +IMAX, Mounds View 15, Oakdale 20, Sparta Theater, Cranford Theater, Rialto Theater Westfield, and Bouvelard 10 theatres.

While the sweepstakes resides at a designated website URL linked to the respective Facebook profile pages of these theaters, potential entrants may be directed to this sweepstakes from other New Vision Theatres locations presenting the associated event as well as other social media platforms controlled by New Vision Theatres at its sole discretion. If you intend to enter the sweepstakes, please read these Rules carefully [before using the NIGHT AT THE MOVIES SWEEPSTAKES “link” on Facebook]. By entering this New Vision Theatres Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Rules.

Who is sponsoring the Sweepstakes?

New Vision Theatres is the Sponsor of the Sweepstakes. New Vision Theatres may use third parties, including Webedia, the administrator if the company's weekly newsletter, to help administer the Sweepstakes, comply with Facebook Page Rules and Policies related to Promotions, manage entry data, use random selection to identify Sweepstakes winners, fulfill delivery of prizes and other activities. Who can participate?

New Vision Theatres Sweepstakes are open only to legal residents of the continental United States excluding Alaska and including the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of New Vision Theatres or any New Vision Theatres affiliated companies are not eligible. Newsletters are only available as an online subscription. Parties that do not have a functioning email address are not eligible to participate. Sweepstakes are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and are void where prohibited. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

 
When Does the Sweepstakes Start and End?

You can sign up to participate in this Sweepstakes as soon as it is posted on the New Vision Theatres website and Facebook pages and at participating theatres (anticipated time is 12:00 PM ET on May 18, 2021) and up until 11:59 PM PT on the last day of the Sweepstakes, Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Winner(s) will be drawn at random every Tuesday for the duration of the Sweepstakes beginning on May 30. The Sponsor's computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.

How Can I Enter the Sweepstakes?

To enter, simply subscribe to the New Vision Theatres free weekly newsletter at:

Follow the directions on the easy to use app. You may also find a link to the app included as a post on a related Facebook profile or a Tweet from other social media profiles controlled by New Vision Theatres, its theaters and affiliates. You are encouraged to like the social media page where the sweepstakes announcement occurs.

New Vision Theatres' newsletter system only allows one subscription per individual. Duplicate subscription requests will automatically be deleted. You may cancel the newsletter subscription by clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of each newsletter you receive at any time. Subscribing, cancelling your subscription and subsequently re-subscribing will not increase your chances of winning a prize.

What are the Prizes?

• A weekly Prize (Approximate Retail Value “ARV” $30.00) including admissions for two (excluding IMAX presentations) - plus two large fountain sodas and two large popcorns will be awarded at each New Vision Theatres location. Winners must claim prizes at the associated theatre with proof of identity and age. Winners will be announced publicly.     

Winners of the weekly prizes will be selected at random from all subscribers currently enrolled to receive the New Vision Theatres weekly newsletter on a per location basis. New Vision Theatres will notify the winner using the email address they provided with their newsletter subscription as well as through announcements made through social media and in theatres. Winners must claim prizes at their associated theatre location in person during normal business hours. Only one notice will be provided to winners. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days following the close of the Sweepstakes. After September 30, 2017, all unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. Failure to provide proof of identity and compliance with other contest rules may also result in forfeiture of the prize. Only one prize per individual will be awarded during the sweepstakes. If their name is selected at random in subsequent weekly drawings, an alternate name will be selected and announced as that week's winner. 
 
New Vision Theatres also reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.  Likewise, New Vision Theatres reserves the right to offer additional prizes from time-to-time which may include movie tickets and concession items, memorabilia, consumer electronics, electronic games or move-branded merchandise. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any other costs, expenses or fees associated with prize acceptance and/or use not specified herein as being provided. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible newsletter subscribers at the time of each drawing.

How are winners notified?

To conform with Facebook Page requirements, all prize winners will be notified by the email address they have included with their subscription, if they have provided an accurate email address. A list of winners in any Sweepstakes can also be obtained by contacting New Vision Theatres at the email address shown at the end of these Rules.

What if I wanted to enter, but ran into computer problems?

The Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions which may limit or interfere with a participant's ability to take part in the Sweepstakes. In addition, the Sponsor shall not be responsible for any damage to any computer or other property resulting from participating in, or downloading any materials for, this Sweepstakes.

Each entry shall be deemed to have been sent by the authorized account holder, at the time of such entry, of the email address indicated on such entry. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant. The authorized account holder is the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization
responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.

If I win a prize, what may the Sponsor do with information about my win?

By participating, you grant New Vision Theatres , its affiliates, successors, licensees, assigns, and others acting on its behalf unlimited right and permission to use your name, picture, likeness, biographical information, and hometown or other location information (i.e., city and state), and any material based thereon or derived therefrom, together with any other material, in any manner, in any and all media whether now or hereafter known, anywhere in the world, in perpetuity, for purposes of advertising or trade (including, without limitation, New Vision Theatres  Facebook pages, and advertising and promotions for other Sweepstakes), without compensation, notification, or permission.

Is information I provide to enter the Sweepstakes secure?

New Vision Theatres  is not responsible for: (a) lost, interrupted, inaccessible, or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider, website, or other connections; (b) failed computer, satellite, telephone, or cable transmissions or lines or other miscommunications; (c) jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other technical failures; or (d) other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing, or otherwise. New Vision Theatres also is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, equipment, programming, or other causes. Anyone who tampers with or abuses any aspect of this program, who acts in a disruptive manner, or who is in violation of these Rules, as determined by New Vision Theatres  in its sole discretion, will become ineligible for participation in future Sweepstakes and other promotions. New Vision Theatres reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify, or terminate this program at any time and for any reason without notice. Any attempt to deliberately damage the New Vision Theatres Sweepstakes or undermine the legitimate operation of this program may be in violation of criminal or civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, New Vision Theatres reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, provided that the Entry Period has not ended. If the Sweepstakes is canceled, suspended or modified, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all
eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein.

These Rules are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey applicable to contracts executed and fully performed therein. Any dispute arising from these Rules or the New Vision Theatres Sweepstakes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of New Jersey. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the State of New Jersey.
